The Referendum (Same-Sex Relationships) Act 2016 has been tabled in the House of Assembly by Michael Dunkley, the Premier.

The Act states that the referendum will be held on the following two questions:

• Are you in favour of same-sex marriage in Bermuda?

• Are you in favour of same-sex civil unions in Bermuda?

The referendum will be held in accordance with the 2012 Act. It will be debated by MPs later in the present legislative session.
