Covid-19: no new cases

There were no new cases of the coronavirus in 769 test results received by the Ministry of Health today.

Bermuda has had 168 confirmed cases and 151 people have recovered.

Eight people who tested positive for the coronavirus are “active cases” but are all under public health monitoring and none are in hospital.

Nine people with Covid-19 have died.

A ministry spokeswoman said that 61 cases were brought to Bermuda from overseas.

There have been 86 local transmission cases with a known contact and 19 with an unknown contact.

Two cases are under investigation to determine the source of transmission.
