The deadline for applications for a scholarship to a top Scottish university is the end of this month.

The scholarship at St Andrews University is valued at up to £35,000 annually for four years and will cover tuition, accommodation, food, return airfare and a computer.

The successful applicant must be able to gain admission to St Andrews, be under 25 years of age on September 1 and demonstrate financial need.

Students who have not attended university but have graduated from senior school or who are attending Bermuda College or working are encouraged to apply.

The opportunity was made possible through a donation by long-time Bermuda resident Chris Maybury and Karim Alibhai, founder and head of GenCom, the new owner of Rosewood Bermuda.

Students must submit their scholarship application on Bermudascholarships.com by Monday.
