Government BMW luxury sedan for sale
The Bermuda Government is to sell off 60 vehicles, including a BMW 750li luxury sedan.
Only two vehicles of that model are part of the government fleet — used by the Premier and the Governor as their official cars.
The Ministry of Public Works has invited bids for the vehicles, which it said were to be sold without warranty in “as is” condition. The BMW is the only vehicle on the list to be marked as “off island only”.
It has a 4.8-litre engine and produces 360 horsepower.
A public notice said: “The ministry reserves the right not to accept the highest or any tender.”
The lots will be shown at the government quarry at 18 Quarry Road, Hamilton Parish today and tomorrow between 9am and 11am.
Bids must be submitted on a government tender form by 3pm on Friday in the tender box at the public works ministry on the third floor of the General Post Office on Church Street.
