Tropical Depression 5 is no longer a threat to the island, the Bermuda Weather Service said today.
The storm brought thunderstorms, rain and winds of up to 34mph as it passed Bermuda shortly after midnight.
At 6am today, it was about 70 miles north of Bermuda, heading in a northeast direction, with maximum winds of 34mph and stronger gusts.
The Bermuda Weather Service said in its forecast at 6am: “Expect Tropical Depression 5 to continue to move out of the area to the northeast through the morning, though keeping showers and thunderstorms around for a time.
“Thereafter, anticipate the ushering in of mostly settled conditions through Tuesday as a ridge of high pressure builds in from the east.”
