More than 200 customers of power firm Belco suffered power cuts as a result of Hurricane Teddy.

A spokesman for the company said yesterday afternoon that a total of 217 households had lost electricity.

The worst-affected area was Pembroke with 166 outages.

There were 26 outages in Hamilton Parish, 23 in Warwick and two in Devonshire.
