SOCCER SOC Kyle Lightbourne and Shawn Goater both found the net on Tuesday night in league and cup games in England as they head towards the 20-goal mark for the third straight season.
Lightbourne, whose Walsall team is now in the thick of the Second Division promotion race following their sixth straight win, scored the team's first goal in the 75th minute as they beat York 2-0 away from home. The goal was his 14th and lifted Walsall to ninth in the standings.
City bowed out of the Auto Windscreens Cup when they went down 2-1 to Peterborough. Goater scored City's goal, his fourth in three games, to take his tally for the season to 16.
TENNIS TEN The junior development division of the Bermuda Lawn Tennis Association will stage two doubles tournaments this weekend for juniors up to the age of 16.
The first will be a one-day tournament starting today at Sonesta Beach. The second is an age-group doubles tournament for 12 and under, 14 and under and 16 and under. The tournament will be held at Tennis Stadium on Friday and Saturday.

TABLE TENNIS PP The Bermuda Table Tennis Association is hosting their second youth tournament of the season at Elliott Primary School on Saturday. Entry for boys and girls in the 8-11, 12-14 and 15-19 age groups is free with registration forms available at Island sporting goods stores.
