Don't write off Rangers says coach Corday

match against Somerset Trojans is quite simple, says coach Mike Corday.

"We must win by two goals, nothing else will do.'' And Corday isn't about to have his team concede defeat. He expects them to recover from Wednesday's 2-1 first leg setback and offer a challenge which will push Trojans to the limit.

The coach felt his team gave the ball away too often on Wednesday, and he'll be urging players to be more careful this time around.

"One of the big things we need to change is our comfort level on the ball. We are too nervous when we receive the ball,'' he said.

"Somerset are more comfortable with the ball, our guys are not. We have a defensive posture we like to play out of, but then we keep giving the ball away and teams like Somerset are always going to be able to counter attack.

"I think we need to calm down, we need to take all of this emotion we are playing with and tone it down a bit so that when we have the ball we know what to do with it.

"We just gave the ball away far too much on Wednesday, we were doing too many things that we don't do in the First Division.'' Underdogs Rangers stunned Somerset by taking an early 1-0 lead through Jonathan Bean but the teams were level after 20 minutes when Rodney Bascome netted.

Striker David Burchall clinched victory for the home side after 75 minutes.

"It's going to be a challenge for us in the second game but we are capable of making the adjustments,'' added Corday. "It's particularly hard to gauge with our guys because we don't have the experience, but I remain hopeful.

"We have no injuries and will pretty much the be using the same squad with possibly one change to the starters. But tactically we need to keep our shape better, we need to handle the ball much better and try not to be too excited.''
