Who is my hero? My Mom
My mom is so beautiful. She likes to discipline us but she still means a lot to me. The nice words she says make me feel so wonderful inside. I go to school feeling nice and fresh. She makes sure she hugs me before I go to school and after school and that makes me feel even better. My mom said to me one day, when you were a little baby you were so sweet and I said: "I took after you and I still will be sweet when I am walking around with a cane!'' Then I said to myself: "I will remember that, I will remember that, and I will!'' JAHNIA FOX Age 12 East End Primary My Daddy My Hero is my daddy. His name is WainScott Minors. My daddy is my hero because he is the best dad.
He takes me to football games and tells me about the game. He is my hero because he helps me with my homework. My daddy is always nice to me even when I get myself into trouble. He always gives me advice and he has two favourite sayings: 1. Be responsible for my own actions.
2. When I ask him for something, he says that I have to do certain things and he will live up to his end of the bargain and I have to live up to my end of the bargain.
My daddy works at the Leopards Club as a bartender in the evening, but he always finds times for me even when he is tired. I do not want to work as a bartender, but I do want to be like my daddy when it comes to him being a good dad. I want to be a good Judge. Believe me when I say I do get corrected, my dad puts me on punishment and even though he gets mad at me when I do something and I know better he will always be my daddy, my friend and my Hero.
