The Bank of Butterfield dropped 25 cents to $31 in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading today.

The 0.8 per cent fall came as 4,600 shares traded.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank’s shares were up 37 cents, or 1.18 per cent, at $31.66.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed down 11.24 points or 0.58 per cent at 1925.29.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 19.73 points, or 1.06 per cent, at 1,847.59.
