Five of six suspects identified in connection with videos showing assaults occurring on Court Street are now in custody, police have announced.

The arrests follow the circulation of two videos on social media.

One suspect was arrested on Wednesday afternoon, with the four additional suspects arrested earlier yesterday.

“Inquiries indicate that the sixth suspect has already left the jurisdiction,” Acting Detective Chief Inspector Dave Greenidge said in a release issued yesterday morning.

“A file is being prepared for consideration by the DPP, who will make a decision on any future court appearances for the suspects.”
