Police continue to search for two suspects following an attempted robbery involving stun guns in Pembroke on Monday night.

Investigators were first alerted to the incident yesterday afternoon.

According to police, two men got out of a taxi in the Deepdale Road West area when they were accosted by two unknown males at around 8.30pm.

The suspects — reportedly both armed with stun guns — demanded money from the victims before fleeing the scene on foot empty-handed.

They are both described as dark-complexioned, about 5ft 10in, with slim builds. They were last seen wearing hooded sweatshirts.

“There were no reported injuries and inquiries continue,” police said in a press release today.
