BAS appoints new finance controller
Bermuda Aviation Services has appointed Jennifer Beech as assistant group financial controller.
Ms Beech, who formerly worked in the enterprise division audit practice at professional services firm KPMG, will look after day-to-day finance operations for the firm and its subsidiaries, as well as head special projects.
Ian Cook, group president and CEO of BAS, said: “Jennifer will make an excellent addition to our finance team, helping us to continue operating as effectively as we possibly can.
“I’m pleased to welcome her on board and I look forward to working with her.”
Ms Beech, a certified public accountant, left KPMG as a manager, where she worked with a variety of island businesses and organisations, including Polaris Holding Company, which operates the docks in Hamilton and Watlington Waterworks.
She said: “I am very pleased to have been appointed as assistant group financial controller and I am looking forward to getting to work with the whole team at BAS.”
BAS, founded in 1947 to provide ground and passenger services at the airport, has grown into a company with diverse arms, including BAS-Serco, Eastbourne Properties, Otis and Weir Enterprises.
