BSX climbs above 2,000 mark

Butterfield boost: The Royal Gazette/BSX Index broke through the 2,000 barrier
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index today broke the 2,000 mark.
The index hit 2002.56, up 31.48 points, or 1.6 per cent.
The move came after Bank of Butterfield rose 70 cents, or 2.2 per cent, to $33 after 4,167 shares traded.
On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank was up 74 cents, or 2.23 per cent, at $33.96.
The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 8.72 points, or 0.49 per cent, at 1,781.57.
