An AIG Christmas charity drive provided toys for children and gift certificates for families in need.
This year 18 families were nominated for the presents which were provided by the company’s personal donations and their Denim/Christmas attire week.
“We were able to buy gifts for every child on the list — over 40 of them and provide Supermarket/Phoenix gift certificates to the parents/guardians to the value of $1560,” said a company statement. “We also were able to donate at least eight bags of lightly used clothing, toys and books.”
The programme was put together with the help of the Department of Child and Family Services.
