Moon walk to remember loved ones
Friends of Hospice will hold a Memorial Moon Walk to start the new year off by remembering loved ones.
The event will take place during the full moon on Friday next week, at Chaplin Bay, Warwick.
Friends of Hospice said in a press release: “It is a great way to start the new year off. The public are welcomed to join Friends of Hospice for this tranquil walk along the south shore beaches and trails under the splendour of a Bermuda full moon to celebrate family and friends who are living with a life limiting illness and to remember those near and dear to us who have passed away.”
Walkers are reminded to bring their own flashlights for the walk. Candles will be available to purchase to light at Chaplin Bay and there will be a moment to reflect and remember ones loved ones.
All proceeds from this event will be used to provide programmes and services that enhance the quality of life for hospice patients and their families.
Registration begins at 6.30pm, with a $5 fee for each walker, and the walk begins at 7pm.
