A Hamilton Parish teenager has reportedly suffered serious injuries in a collision in Smith’s yesterday afternoon.

According to a police spokesman, emergency services were dispatched to the scene of a crash near the junction of Store Hill and North Shore Road at around 3.45pm.

“Details remain limited at this time, however it appears that a car and a motorcycle were involved,” the spokesman said.

“Initial information suggests that the injured rider, believed to be a 18-year-old Hamilton Parish man, sustained serious injuries.

“Traffic was being diverted from the area this afternoon, and the public have been advised to take alternate routes to avoid the area if possible.
