Shares in Bermuda Aviation Services dropped five cents to $3.20 on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

The move, equal to 1.5 per cent, came after 100,000 shares traded.

The Bank of Butterfield fell 70 cents, or 2.2 per cent, to $31.30 after 7,315 shares changed hands.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank fell 81 cents, or 2.49 per cent, to $31.70.

Watlington Waterworks was unchanged at $20.75 after 2,000 shares moved.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed down 31.71 points or 1.62 per cent at 1,930.79.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 12.88 per cent or 0.72 per cent at 1,769.93.
