The police drugs unit has launched an investigation after a medical emergency involving two visitors at the Hamilton Princess Hotel on Tuesday.
In addition to a 25-year-old Canadian woman, who is in stable condition in the intensive care unit, a 35-year-old man, also from Canada, was yesterday reported by police to be in stable condition on a general ward receiving treatment in relation to the same incident.
Further details were unavailable, and Allan Federer, general manager of the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, said he was unable to comment further due to the investigation — and that the hotel was “co-operating fully with the Bermuda Police Service”.
