Auto Solutions takes on new staff

Expanding staff: Auto Solutions has had to grow its workforce with the increasing demand for vehicles

Car dealers Auto Solutions has taken on new staff.

Danny Benevides has joined the Pembroke company as master technical specialist and George Holman-Perry and Samuel Dale have been taken on as service technicians.

Denise Fox has been hired as customer services manager, while Peter Richold has filled a new position of customer relations administrator.

Marcus Anderson has joined the service team as an apprentice technician on a three-year programme backed by the National Training Board.

Terry Heilbron, service department manager, said Mr Holman-Perry and Mr Dale brought “a wealth of experience on various products with them.”

He added: “We are also happy to have a young Bermudian join our team this year.”

Mr Heilbron said: “We are very fortunate to have found and hired Danny as his expertise has great versatility due to his ability to work on all manufacturers’ vehicles that are serviced by Auto Solutions.”

And Peter Richold has filled a new post, customer relations administrator, responsible for concierge services and fleet maintenance management.

Harry Andrews, sales and operations manager, said: “Not only have we had a very successful year thus far in terms of vehicle sales, but we have experienced growth in human resources.”

In addition, Janos Lindsay has been promoted to parts customer service representative.

Bill McNiven, parts manager, said: “The Auto Solutions workplace does encourage staff promotions and happily rewards hardworking employees.

“Similarly, the company is fortunate to have great staff such as Janos. He started with our team in 2015, quickly learned the business and showed great promise, therefore he was soon promoted.”

Glen Smith, managing director of the firm, now in its third year of business, added: “I have always believed that you must take good care of your team if you want to run an efficient and successful business.

“Your team is your bread and butter. They are the oil that enables the engine to run.

“Auto Solutions is very much a service-orientated business and we are all front-facing.

“We must have a positive work environment for our team and make sure they know they are valued here.

The company are main dealers for cars from Volkswagen, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Mazda, Hyundai and Honda and also sells a range of commercial vehicles.

The company ranked second in The Bottom Line’s Top Ten Employers survey earlier this year.
