PartnerRe hires head of Life and Health
Marc Archambault is joining PartnerRe to head up the Bermudioan-based reinsurer’s Life and Health business.
As chief executive officer of the unit, Mr Archambault will be responsible for growing business in the life and health segments.
Mr Archambault will join the firm from the start of April 2017. He has 25 years’ experience in life reinsurance at Scor, most recently as CEO of Scor Global Life Asia-Pacific, where he led the company’s regional growth strategy in those markets, and as a member of the senior management team for Global Life.
Before that, Mr Archambault held a number of senior management positions at Scor in Europe, North America, Asia and Africa.

Mr Archambault will be based in PartnerRe’s Zurich office reporting to Mr Clarke and replaces Marvin Pestcoe. Mr. Pestcoe will continue as a member of PartnerRe’s executive management group as chief risk and actuarial officer responsible for PartnerRe’s risk, capital modelling and reserving functions.
