Bus kiosk reopens after closure over smell

The bus kiosk at the Central Bus Terminal in Hamilton has reopened after an investigation into a “persistent smell”.
The Department of Public Transportation had said that the kiosk would remain closed today, as the Department of Works and Engineering worked to remedy the issue, but the kiosk reportedly reopened at around 11.30am.
The kiosk was also closed on Sunday due to complaints of a “strong smell”.
Asked about the nature and source of the odour, a government spokesman said that it was the result of cleaning solvents in the ventilation system.
