Commission of Inquiry back in session
The Commission of Inquiry will resume next week with former Premier Ewart Brown and Donal Smith of Bermuda Emissions Control among those who could appear before the panel.
Four sessions are tentatively scheduled — Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Mr Smith will hear evidence from Joyce Hayward, the former Accountant General, and on Tuesday an application will be made by Jerome Lynch on behalf of Dr Brown, who could be grilled by the commissioners on Wednesday.
Sir Anthony Evans, chairman of the Commission, will make his closing statement on Thursday.
The former Justice of Appeal in Bermuda is being assisted by three Commission members — lawyer John Barritt, businesswoman Fiona Luck and businessman Kumi Bradshaw.
All hearings are taking place at St Theresa’s Church Hall, Laffan Street in Hamilton.
