Gunshots were fired in Sandys early on Thursday, police have revealed. No injuries were reported.

At 1.45am, officers responded to a report of gunfire on Scott’s Hill Road.

It was later forensically confirmed that a firearm had been discharged on Sound View Road, between Gwelly Lane and Salt Sea Lane.
