A visiting university group from Britain has thanked Belco for supporting their biomedical science workshops in Bermudian middle and senior schools.

Dr Carika Weldon, who hails from Bermuda, and her students from De Montfort University in Leicester have been conducting the workshops — which Belco has backed as part of its commitment to Stem subjects (science, technology, engineering and mathematics).

The group, who are here as part of the Bermuda Principles Impact on Splicing Conference, stopped by the company’s Hamilton headquarters to show their gratitude with a plaque of thanks.
