Two injured in Southampton crash

A motorcyclist and his 12-year-old pillion passenger were injured after colliding with a car in Southampton.
According to a police spokesman, the crash happened on Middle Road at around 7pm on Sunday, as the car attempted to turn on to Tribe Road No 5, near Port Royal Esso Service Station. The motorcyclist, a 46-year-old Warwick man and the boy, also from Warwick, were injured, taken to hospital via ambulance for treatment and later discharged. No other injuries were reported.
