Somersfield Academy will host two open houses tomorrow.

Parents will be able to learn more about the Montessori experience and the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme.

The first open house, which will feature the IB Middle Years Programme event “Discover the International Baccalaureate”, will be held at the school from 9am to 11am.

While learning more about the five-year programme for students aged 11 to 16, participants will be able to tour classrooms, experience a writing café, examination centre, robotics tour and science experiments.

The second open house, which had been scheduled for last week, will take place from 5.30pm to 7pm.

Through the Children's House event “Discover the Magic of Montessori”, parents with children turning 3 in 2017 will be able to tour classrooms, gain experience with Montessori materials, and have one-on-one discussions with Montessori trained teachers.
