A burglar with a bladed article was tasered and arrested after breaking into a home in Sandys.

The suspect, a 28-year-old Sandys man, was attempting to leave the house through a window when he was confronted by police yesterday.

He had jewellery, commemorative coins and power tools which officers believed to be stolen; he was arrested and detained.
