A 28-year-old man appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday accused of murdering Lorenzo Stovell in Sandys.

Travone Saltus, of no known address, is alleged to have shot Mr Stovell on September 23, 2012, by a lay-by opposite Woody’s bar on Boaz Island.

Mr Saltus, who was not required to enter a plea, was remanded into custody and will be sent to the Supreme Court at the next arraignment session on November 1.
