The public is asked to take caution this weekend as a storm system is forecast to bring gale force winds to the Island today.In a statement yesterday, Minister of National Security Wayne Perinchief advised the public to keep an eye on the weather as a Gale Warning has been issued for Saturday night and Sunday by the Bermuda Weather Service.Last night, winds were forecast to reach between 30 and 40 knots from the east and southeast, with gusts reaching 50 knots.Heavy rain and large waves have also been predicted for the weekend as a large low pressure system is expected to pass to the south of the Island.Useful websites: www.weather.bm, www.emobermuda.com.
