Shares of telecoms firm KeyTech soared 13.2 per cent on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index today.

The 35-cent move on the trading of 2,097 shares left the company’s price at $3.

The Bank of Butterfield fell 6 cents, or 3.5 per cent, to $1.64 after 12,073 shares changed hands.

And the bank’s preference shares dropped $25 or 2.3 per cent to $1,050, as 10 shares were sold.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed down 22.18 points, or 1.8 per cent, at 1,198.29.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 17.68 points, or 1.06 per cent, at 1,681.26.
