Law firm Sedgwick Chudleigh is seeking applicants for a $10,000 scholarship scheme.

Mark Chudleigh, managing partner of the firm, said: “The Sedgwick Chudleigh Education Award demonstrates our commitment to Bermuda and to the development of young Bermudian legal talent.”

The award, for the academic year starting in September, is given to students enrolled in a law degree course, including the legal practice course and the Bar professional training course, and will be expected to demonstrate an interest in and aptitude for a career in insurance law and/or commercial litigation, as well as a desire to practice in Bermuda.

Applications should be received by Thursday, July 7, and should include a cover letter, CV an academic transcript for the last academic year, if available and proof of Bermudian status or PRC status.
