An unmissable line-up for Heroes weekend

National Heroes Weekend has quickly evolved into three days that are not to be missed in Bermuda.

With an array of events such as the Bermuda Heroes Weekend Carnival, there is sure to be something for everyone. Here’s a list of what’s going on this weekend:

• Five Star Friday (BHW opening night) — tonight, 7pm, at the National Sports Centre. Tickets $20 in advance and $30 at the gate.

• Duel of the Ages (Age Concern fundraiser) — tonight, 7pm, at the Hamilton Princess, Harbourview Ballroom. Tickets $225.

• J’Ouvert celebration of our heroes — tomorrow, 3am to 8am at the Michael Preece Softball Stadium, Bernard Park. Event is for patrons 18 years or older. Tickets $125.

• BHW Parade of the Bands — tomorrow, 2pm at Clearwater Beach in St David’s. Spectator passes will be available $10, free for children 12 and under.

• A Call To Sunrise: Breakfast Fête Cruise — Sunday, 3am boarding from Albouy’s Point, Hamilton. Tickets $45.

• Rise and Shine Breakfast Fête — Sunday, 8am to 1pm at Tobacco Bay. Tickets $100.

• Pan in the Park — Sunday, 3pm to 7pm in Victoria Park, Hamilton. Admission is free.

• Glow Bermuda: White Party — Sunday, 4pm to 11pm at Queen Elizabeth Park. Tickets $100.

• Pure: The 8th Annual All White Party — Sunday, 9pm in the Bermuda Athletics Association parking lot. $25 for college students, $35 general admission, $75 VIP.

• Poets Passionate About Purity — Sunday, 7pm at the Ruth Seaton James Auditorium. $10 for ages 13-17, $15 for adults.

• BHW Raft up — Monday, outside Morgan’s Point. Leaving Albouy’s point at 12pm to 6.30pm. Tickets $130.
