failure to dislodge high man Shannon Raynor meant that Lovell's efforts came in a losing cause in his team's Under-16 League match at Sea Breeze Oval on Saturday.

Raynor, batting at number six, scored an unbeaten 86 out of the total of 154 in 28.5 overs. In fact, he was the only man in double figures, with the total helped by 40 extras. Lovell took seven for 27 off eight overs.

Parish replied with 104 with Jim West (22) leading the way while there were 34 extras. Grason McCallan, Aaron Crockwell, George O'Brien and Landro Minors all took two wickets each.

P.Thomas claimed six for 10 off 5.5 overs as Devonshire beat Southampton by 31 runs. Devonshire scored 127 with tailender C.Trott hitting 20 and S.Easton 19 not out. E.Ball took three for 18 and R.Rhones, W.Raynor and K.Tucker two wickets each.

Southampton replied with 96-8 as openers Kamen Tucker scored 40 and Ball 16.

In the Under 13 League, Sandys beat Smith's by 35 runs at Spice Valley field.

Sandys scored 62-6 in their 15 overs with L.Dill hitting 18. Smith's replied with 27 in 15 overs.

Hamilton beat St. David's by 41 runs at Sea Breeze Oval. Brandon Trott (26) and Calvin Brown (25) were the top bats for Hamilton. Fiqre Crockwell took two for 13 for St. David's who replied with 61. Opener Crockwell was their high man with 17. Reid Trott took two for 12 and Brandon Trott two for nine.

Warwick beat Pembroke by three wickets at St. John's Field, reaching their winning target of 78 with the loss of seven wickets as D.Stovell and captain K.Butterfield both scored 26. A.Gibbons took three for 12 for Pembroke who had earlier scored 77 thanks to T.Gibbons' 25.

Extras were the main contribution for both Southampton and Devonshire in their match at Southampton Oval. Devonshire scored 65 and Southampton replied with 66-3.

Andrew Raynor claimed five for 11 from 3.4 overs and Quinton Basden two for eight for Southampton as only William Usher (10) reached double figures. There were 25 extras.

Gavin Manders hit 20 and his opening partner Quinton Basden 16 as Southampton easily reached their target. They had 23 extras.
