CHAMPAGNE, fabulous food and great prizes are all on offer as part of a tenth anniversary fundraiser in aid of the Bermuda International Film Festival.

Dubbed ?An Evening in Cannes?, the event will be held on March 3 at the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club, and will feature a champagne reception, Mediterranean dinner, Oscar quiz and silent auction.

?The champagne and food will be first-class, and we have some great prizes to auction off to benefit the festival,? said event co-producer Marlee Robinson, who sits on BIFF?s management committee.

?We invite everyone who loves the film festival to come out and not only support us, but have a fun-filled evening as well. The quiz will also include some general knowledge questions and some questions about film generally ? you certainly won?t need to be a scholar on the Oscars to win.?

Dress is ?Cannes Yachting Chic? ? smart casual. Attendees will be seated at tables of eight, with each table forming a team for the Oscar quiz. Tickets for a table of eight may be reserved. For those unable to attend, a list of silent auction prizes is available from BIFF. Bids may be made by non-attendees.
