Ascendant shares slide 9.1%

Utility Ascendant Group fell 9.1 per cent in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading today.
The company, which owns electricity provider Belco slipped 45 cents to $4.50 as 3,000 shares traded.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed down 4.34 points, or 0.37 per cent, at 1,181.70.
The Bank of Butterfield was static at $1.64 after 6,512 shares moved.
And insurance firm BF&M was also unchanged at $17 after 1,980 shares changed hands.
The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 0.01 points at 1,655.32.
