Some 48 residents temporarily lost power in the area of Laffan Street, Hamilton, this morning due to a twisted aerial cable.

The customers lost power at 7.14am but it was mostly restored by around 10am.

Early this afternoon, four residential customers remained without power, with crews on site working to restore it.
