The Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service responded to a report of a structural fire early Tuesday morning in Sandys.According to a spokeswoman, the fire occurred at 1am on Sound View Road and the residents were uninjured.Said the spokeswoman: “The service responded with two fire appliances, two support vehicles and ten personnel.“The first arriving appliance arrived on scene at approximately 1.06am and discovered a room of family dwelling well involved with smoke and flames.“Two firefighters in breathing apparatus quickly brought the fire under control and by 1.36am the fire was completely extinguished.”The cause of the fire is being thoroughly investigated.
