Kyle Lightbourne hit the back of the net but Shaun Goater was dropped as Bermuda's professional soccer players enjoyed a mixed weekend.

Lightbourne scored with a header midway through the first half of Macclesfield Town's Third Division clash with Exeter.

The Island striker steered Lee Hardy's free-kick powerfully past the Grecians' `keeper but it was not enough to secure all three points, James Coppinger equalising after the break.

Goater, meanwhile, was left on the bench for Manchester City's Premiership clash with Fulham which the Blues won 1-0 courtesy of a Nicolas Anelka strike. Goater was replaced in the line-up by Darren Huckerby.
