House to debate CUREreport

The House will be kept busy debating the CURE report today. Results of the Country's first annual review of the workforce to track employment trends by race, were announced in the House last week by Development and Opportunity Minister Terry Lister.

Government whip Ottiwell Simmons last night confirmed that the report's findings might prove a source of healthy debate in the House.

"It could be controversial in the sense that different people look at figures from different directions," he told The Royal Gazette.

United Bermuda Party MP Alan Marshall said: "My guess is that there will be a full and thorough debate on the CURE report."

Also on tomorrow's agenda is a motion by Opposition MP Cole Simons. Mr. Simons wants the House to appoint a committee, to look into issues faced by the Island's youth.
