Advantage, the magazine of the Associated Landscaping Contractors of America, came to Bermuda with the intention of profiling Mr. Sousa's operation, Sousa's Landscape Management Comapany.

But grey skies don't seem to have hampered Peter Patau from writing what could only be described as a glowing profile of Mr. Sousa and his 26-man, $2-million-plus operation. The article tells the story of a man whose first business went belly-up before he became successful with Sousa's.

Speaking to The Royal Gazette , Mr. Sousa said the article had given Bermuda good, free publicity and that it had prompted American landscapers to visit the Island and contact him.

Mr. Sousa will also be speaking at the Virginia Horticultural Conference in January because of his exposure in the article.
