Appleby Fiduciary Business yesterday unveiled four new client directors in Bermuda.

The four — James Bodi, Janita Burke, Sarah Demerling and Alison Dyer-Fagundo — all joined the business from Bermuda law firm Appleby in January.

AFB was the subject of a management buyout from the legal firm, which was completed at the start of the year. The new AFB staff were all corporate partners with Appleby.

Rory Gorman, managing director of AFB’s Bermuda office, said: “They have a deep understanding of the local market and the global industries that AFB serves.

“They bring with them a perspective, expertise and sound commercial sense developed in their previous legal careers, as well as a thorough knowledge of AFB’s fiduciary role in helping our clients achieve their goals in Bermuda and worldwide.”

AFB, which has 90 staff in Bermuda, employs more than 350 people across nine offshore jurisdictions.
