Masked men with gun burgle home
Three men with masks reportedly broke into a woman’s home overnight in Hamilton Parish, brandishing an apparent firearm.
Police, who responded shortly before 3am, said there were no injuries in the burglary at the Radnor Close residence of a 62-year-old woman.
The trio demanded jewellery and money, leaving on foot with quantities of each.
The first man was described as being tall, over 6ft, with a light-skinned complexion and dressed in “a royal blue coloured hoodie”.
The second was “a short, skinny, young male with brown skinned complexion, wearing a dark hoodie, carrying what was believed to be a firearm”, while the third was “a short, skinny young male, with brown skinned complexion, wearing a dark hoodie”. All were described as speaking with a Bermudian accent.
Police are appealing to witnesses or anyone who may have seen any suspicious individuals or vehicles in the area of Radnor Road and Radnor Close between 2.30am and 3am to call the Serious Crime Unit on 247-1739, or the confidential Crime Stoppers hotline on 800-8477.
