I was privileged to attend the opening of the Artemis Racing Team facility on Morgan’s Point last Friday. In the many years I have lived here I had only sailed around that point, not actually been on the land.

The cleanup is ongoing and the changes dramatic, none more so then when you get to the point and arrive at this amazing facility that houses the Artemis team. The facility is focused on providing the best tools for the team to achieve its goal of winning the America’s Cup.

With a little imagination you can also see how this land will be completely transformed when the developers complete the resort and all of its various features for their clients. This is growth and future planning at its best and demonstrates a confidence in our future economy that is only to be commended. We see growth, new plans, and new opportunities to continue with the step-by-step process to rebuild an economy and provide future benefits for all.
