A pancake event will raise money for the project to buy a wheelchair for shooting victim Ralph Burrows today.
Progressive Labour Party MP Kim Wilson is presenting her annual Shrove Tuesday feast at the Allen Temple AME Church Auditorium, in Sound View Road, Sandys, from 5.30pm.
The event is free, but people will be encouraged to donate towards “Mobility of Ralph”, a drive to buy a high-tech, motorised wheelchair for Mr Burrows, who was left paralysed after being mistaken for someone else and shot in 2010.
