Storm-force gusts in Bermuda today caused multiple delays for planes at L.F. Wade International Airport.

JetBlue’s flight from JFK, scheduled to land at 11.42am, was delayed due to crosswind weather conditions.

Using a larger aircraft, a 150-seat Airbus 320, it will arrive at 7pm this evening and depart Bermuda at 7.55pm.

American Airlines flight 2444 to Miami and flight 1443 to JFK were also both delayed due to excessive crosswinds. Both flights are scheduled to depart this afternoon at 4.30pm.

Delta flight 437 from JFK, flight 561 from Boston and flight 656 from Atlanta each arrived and departed on schedule as normal.

United flight 1419 from Newark has been delayed due to weather in New Jersey. The flight is due to arrive at 5pm and depart at 5.45pm.
