A 20-year-old woman remains in a serious condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit following an accident in the early hours of Monday, police said this afternoon.

The woman suffered head injuries after her car crashed into a stationary trailer parked on the side of Middle Road, Southampton, at about 11.10pm.

A 22-year-old woman has received treatment for injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police reissued their appeal for witnesses to call the Roads Policing unit on 295-0011.
