Elan Daley broke a host of records in the Best of the Best swim meet at the weekend.

The ten-year-old set new times in the girls’ 400 metres individual medley, the 200 breaststroke, and 50 butterfly at Basa Pool.

Daley swam a time of 5min 42.71sec in the 400, a 3:05.48 in the 200, and a 31.48 in the butterfly.

Two other records also fell, with Jesse Washington setting a new time in the 200 butterfly, finishing in 2:17.04. Brian Desmond, meanwhile, set a new mark in the 800 freestyle for the boys’ 11 to 12 age group, swimming a 10:05.91.
