Several flights between Bermuda and New York have been cancelled as a result of a fierce winter storm in the United States.

According to the duty officer at the LF Wade International Airport, JetBlue, American Airlines and Delta have cancelled flights between Bermuda and New York’s JFK Interrnational Airport today, however flights may resume tomorrow.

A near-record winter storm buried New York and Washigton DC in more than two feet of snow this weekend. At least 14 people have died as a result of the storm, while around 250,000 homes have been left without power.
