Police are still hunting a 21-year-old woman suspected of stabbing a woman in the face yesterday.

The 24-year-old victim was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital following the incident on Cedar Park Road, Devonshire, at about 5.35pm, although police have said that her injuries are not serious.

The victim, who is a resident of the area, is known to the suspect, and they appear to have been friends at one point, according to the Bermuda Police Service.

A police spokesman said today: “The female suspect involved in the stabbing incident that took place last night at Cedar Park is still being sought by police and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is now under way.”
